Like other departments, the HR department has also lots of pressure to embark upon. However, recruiters these days using tools and platforms like emails, SMS, voicemails to get the best talent, but they fail.

The reason – competition is high in the Labor world. Candidates are getting numbers of emails, texts, and voicemails from different companies. So, it may take a few times to delete a bunch of same mails in a single click. You need to do something effective and eye-catching to be on their interested list.

Check the few basic techniques below:

Subject Line: Like other mails, the subject line is the key to your Job mail as well. So, make sure the subject line or title of your mail should be less in characters so that it will not waste the time of viewers. It should be direct to the point/designation so that candidate will be interested to directly go inside to your email and know the details about the position.        

Avoid Spamming: is very important. Because it will not even come to the viewers’ eyes, which is simply wastage of your time. Avoid using CAPS and spam words in your mails and in subject lines, so that it will decrease the chances of spam by automated filters.

Generate Curiosity: of the candidate. Give some specific information to grab their interest but make it fuzzy to create the information gap. It will bring curiosity and drive candidates to want to know more about your organization and job.

Mobile-Friendly: Nowadays, everybody is updated with mobile. Make sure your email or ATS tracking should be optimized for mobile reading so that the users can easily access the email on tiny mobile screens. Your mail should be in detail with few words, which will help to read easily through the phone.   

Track Sent History: Like you and me, nobody likes to get duplicate emails, texts, or more. But it can happen if you don’t have any proper track record of it. In this case, use applicant tracking software that can help you to store your recruitment database in the cloud and easy to look up history.

Follow-up & Experiment: It is impossible to say that a single recruiting email will work for all candidates. So always be experimenting and change the methodology that works best for different candidates and follow-up in an ideal duration.
